Reviews and Testimonials
Posted on Google martina sheridanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mila (Spanish School) is an absolute hidden treasure in Dublin 15. Professional & passionate in the teaching of her Spanish language & Incredibly affordable. My son is attending regarding Leaving Cert Honours level and loves it. My only criticism is that her classes tend to run over the allotted time 😊 which re-enforces how incredibly genuine and caring Mila is. We couldn’t recommend her enough.Posted on Google iseult cumminsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend the Institute, Mila is a lovely teacher. I was nervous but she made me feel really relaxed. We covered a lot of material and it has motivated me to learn more myself. She tailored the classes to what I needed which was fantastic, I learned so much. Thank you Mila!Posted on Google Mary ConneelyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mila is a great teacher and her classes will definitely improve your Spanish!Posted on Google Siobhan RocheTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been a student at the Dublin Institute of Spanish for the past three years. During that time, I have had excellent tuition from Mila. She prepares her lessons thoroughly and tailors them to your ability. She sets homework assignments and corrects them with you. I asked that a portion of my class would be devoted to conversation and we start each class now with a chat. Mila also provides a free conversation session on Zoom for pupils of the same level. I find the session really helpful. Recently, Mila prepared me for the B1 DELE exam. I passed it with her excellent guidance. I would highly recommend classes with the Dublin Institute of Spanish. Excellent teaching skills with clear and concise explanation for the student, no matter if the question is too big or small. Each session is met with a warm welcome and smile. Mila is also very accommodating with session times during my work schedules and I wish her the very best in the upcoming classes.Posted on Google pietro tedoneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have started studying spanish with Mila during pandemic as i wanted to add spanish to my professional curriculum. Mila has been really great in tailoring the teaching around my necessities and level, plus she was super flexible to accomodate our sessions with my changing working schedule... Learning was also real fun as she is really a people person and it's no nice to have conversations on any topic..... I couldn't desire for better teacher and i highly recommend for any level of student!Posted on Google Aileen MitchellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been having lessons with Mila for over two years now and I highly recommend her . Her lessons are very well organised on zoom and she has access to a wide range of resources which are incorporated into the lessons so that they are varied, interesting and practical. Mila goes over and beyond in and out of the lessons especially when I was preparing for the Dele B1 exam . Her help with the exam, particularly for the writing and oral sections were invaluable. Mila is very personable and down to earth and as such my Spanish conversation skills have vastly improved in a relaxed lesson environment. Mila always follows up the lesson with a summary of what I learned so that I can refer back to it as and when required. Again , I have no hesitation in recommending Mila for Spanish lessonsPosted on Google Desmond HickleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An absolutely amazing couple of weeks spent learning Spanish. I needed to learn quite a large amount of Spanish before my leaving cert exam and was expecting to have to drop down to ordinary level, however thanks to Mila’s help I was able to get a rather good grade in higher which helped me to obtain my 500 points. Frequently Asked Question
Are these courses online?
No, these specific group courses are held in-person in Blanchardstown to maximize interaction and immersion.
How do I know which level is right for me?
Don’t worry! We offer a free 40-minute consultation for every new student. During this chat, we’ll assess your current level, discuss your goals, and find the group that best fits your personality and schedule.
I haven’t studied a language in years, is this for me?
Absolutely! Most of our students are adults (aged 25 to 70+) who are learning for travel, family, or work. Our “Right Fit” approach ensures you are placed in a supportive group where you’ll feel comfortable and confident from day one.
How can I pay for my classes?
We aim to keep things simple. You can pay via Bank Transfer (EFT) or Revolut. Once we’ve had our initial consultation and confirmed your spot, I’ll send you the details or a Revolut request directly to your phone.
Do I need to pay for the full term upfront?
Yes, for group classes, a place is only guaranteed once full payment for the 10-week term is received. For individual lessons, we book in blocks of 5 sessions, payable before the first class.
What happens if I miss a group class?
We understand that life happens! We allow for two missed classes per term without them being counted. This gives you the flexibility you need if work or family commitments pop up.
Do I need to buy a specific textbook?
Not necessarily. At Dublin Institute of Spanish, we don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. For the majority of our classes, we use bespoke, tailor-made materials based on your interests and real-life communication needs, all of which are included in your course fee.
However, for certain groups or exam preparation courses, we may supplement our lessons with a core textbook to better support your progress. If a specific book is recommended for your group, your teacher will introduce it and provide all the details during your first few sessions.
Is there a cultural element to the classes?
Absolutely! We believe you can’t learn a language in a vacuum. From virtual tours of Spanish cities to discussing regional traditions and multidisciplinary teamwork, culture is woven into every lesson.
