¡Hola! I'm Mila Fernández

CEO, Founder, and the heart behind the Dublin Institute of Spanish.

They say teaching is an art, but after years in the classroom, I believe it’s about connection.

I didn’t start Dispanish to be just another language school with dusty textbooks. I started it because I saw too many students in Dublin frustrated by grammar that didn’t stick and exams that felt like a mountain.

With a background in Educational Psychology and a Master’s in Teaching Spanish, I don’t just look at verbs; I look at how your brain learns. Whether you’re a Leaving Cert student aiming for that H1 or a professional trying to close a deal in Madrid, my mission is to make the language feel like yours.

The Gold Standard

I am an Official DELE Examiner (A1-C2) certified by Instituto Cervantes. I don’t just teach the exam; I know exactly what the examiners are looking for.

Academic Rigour:

I hold a BA (Hons) in Educational Psychology and a University Master’s Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language.

100% Native Expertise:

Born and raised in Spain, I bring the authentic rhythm, accent, and cultural nuances of the language to every lesson.

Garda Vetted & Teen-Approved

With extensive experience in teenage education, I know how to transform "school-subject boredom" into genuine interest and exam-day confidence.

"With languages, you are at home everywhere."
Edward De Waal

Serious learning, Zero Boredom

I believe in small circles and big conversations. At Dispanish, we’ve ditched the ‘one-size-fits-all’ model. My team and I focus on dynamic immersion: we experiment, we laugh, we make mistakes, and we fix them in real-time.

Based in the heart of Dublin 15 but connected to the world online, I’m here to ensure that when you step into my world, you’re not just learning a language—you’re opening a door to a new version of yourself.
